Dear Church Family and Friends,
Grace and I have been blessed to serve the Lord at FBC for the last thirty-eight years. There have been many peaks and valleys in the ministry here. God has been with us through them all. We give Him praise for that!
Serving Christ at FBC continues to bring great joy to our hearts. We’re grateful for the congregation God has entrusted to us. It takes a team of faithful servants to accomplish God’s purposes in our church, community, and world.
The highest priority of any Christian or church is to “glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” We seek to do that at FBC through worship, singing, Bible teaching, fellowship, and discipleship. Glorifying God in our attitudes and actions is our focus.
Our relationships with one another are important. Cultivating a sense of family, togetherness, unity, and love is an important goal for FBC. An important task is to “prepare God’s people for the works of service, so that the body of Christ is built up.” (Ephesians 4:12)
Reaching the unsaved, lost world for the Lord Jesus Christ is another purpose for why we are here. Obeying the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) through missions, outreach, and being the “salt of the earth” and “light of the world” in living the Christian life continue to be important to us.
Joyfully serving God and You,
Pastor Buddy and Grace Turner
